Atlas Port is designed to promote faster healing of wound etiologies like skin grafts (meshed), diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, sternal wounds, dehisced surgical wounds. It easily fits into palm of the patient and comes with a canister of capacity 200ml to accommodate discharge. The dressing kit includes silicone contact layer, polyurethane (PU) foam and drape. The medical grade PU foam is available in multiple sizes based on size of the wound. The foam (pore size: 400-600 microns) is the principal component that enhances vascularity and promotes of granulation tissue formation.
